Iowa State has landed a commitment from a three-star defensive tackle after an unofficial visit for the first day of fall camp. Illinois defensive lineman Isaiah Lee announced his commitment to the Cyclones on his Twitter account Monday evening.
Lee, who is rated as the No. 73 defensive tackle in the country and No. 21 prospect in Illinois, landed an Iowa State offer after attending a camp last weekend. The 6-foot-2, 280-pound prospect also holds offers from Colorado State, Central Michigan, Ball State, North Dakota State and a handful of other FCS programs.
Lee is Iowa State’s 12th commit in the 2018 recruiting cycle and first defensive tackle.
