A group of former Cyclones will begin their quest for $2 million on Saturday.

The Hilton Magic Legends will play their first game in The Basketball Tournament at 10:45 a.m. in Peoria against Illinois Hoopville Warriors. The game will be broadcasted live on WatchESPN.

The Hilton Magic Legends roster, which will be coached by Cyclone legend Marcus Fizer, is headlined by former Iowa State point guard, and NBA D-League MVP, Curtis Stinson.

He’ll be joined on the team by former Cyclones Diante Garrett, Dustin Hogue, Korie Lucious, Tyrus McGee, Bubu Palo, Darrell Bowie and Kourtlin Jackson.

Illinois Hoopville Warriors is one of only four teams to play in all four editions of The Basketball Tournament, a 64-team bracket played out over the next three weeks.

The winner of Saturday’s game will take on the winner of the contest between Purple and Black, a team of Kansas State alumni, and the Canton Bulldogs.
