This could be big.

Parker Stewart, a 6-foot-5, 185-pound shooting guard out of Tennessee has schedule an official visit to Iowa State on Monday, according to a source.

Stewart was recently granted a full release from his National Letter of Intent with Ole Miss earlier this week. He is a 3-star prospect who originally chose Ole Miss over Kansas State, Nebraska, Utah, Missouri, Memphis, Wisconsin and others.

Since being released from his scholarship, Stewart has received interest from Iowa State, Georgetown, and Pitt.

As a senior in high school, Stewart averaged 19 points and six rebounds per game. He was a 51 percent shooter from the field and made 39 percent from 3-point range.

Iowa State still has two scholarships open for the 2017-18 season. Considering the position that he plays and the talent he possesses, Stewart would be an important “get” for head coach Steve Prohm and his staff.
