RECRUITING: Wigginton rises, Lewis stays steady in final ESPN100

The final ESPN100 for the 2017 class has been released and two Iowa State signees are in the rankings. Oak Hill point guard Lindell Wigginton is the No. 37 player in the class and Milwaukee forward Terrence Lewis is No. 58 according to the list.

Wigginton is the fourth-highest rated prospect signed with a Big 12 team. He moved up five spots from No. 42 in the final rankings. The 6-foot-1 Canada native averaged 20.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.4 assists during his senior season for the Warriors.

He was one of the standouts of the Nike Hoop Summit earlier this month and drew a great deal of national buzz from media members and NBA talent evaluators.

Lewis, who was a unanimous all-state selection by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, averaged 26 points and 10 rebounds per game during his last season at Riverside High School. The 6-foot-6 forward shot 77 percent from the floor and 62 percent from behind the 3-point line.

Iowa State’s class is rated as the No. 18 class in the nation by ESPN with four scholarships left to fill during the spring.
