According to a source, Hutchinson Community College forward Shakur Juiston will officially visit Iowa State next weekend.
The visit, which was first reported by 247 Sports, is an important step for Iowa State, who was the first high-major program to offer the 6-foot-7, 215-pound prospect.
Juiston, who recently led Hutchison to a junior college national championship, averaged 17.3 points and 12.1 rebounds per game last season. At this point, he is arguably the most important piece of Iowa State’s spring recruiting period, where the Cyclones have four scholarships to give.
