The competition is tough, but Iowa State has set a visit date with New Mexico graduate transfer Elijah Brown.

The 6-foot-4, 210-pound guard averaged 18.8 points and 5.2 rebounds last season for the Lobos. Go back to the 2015-16 campaign and he averaged 21.7 points per.

According to a source, Brown will be in Ames on an official visit during the weekend of April 21.

The graduate transfer market it littered with quality programs these days and for a player of Brown’s caliber, that is most certainly the case. He will visit Oregon and Northwestern before Iowa State. Brown, a Orange County, Calif. native, will make Gonzaga his final stop.
