Four-star defensive end Azeez Ojulari has seen his recruitment grow since an impressive showing at Nike’s The Opening in Atlanta last weekend. The Marietta, Ga., native can now include a scholarship offer from Iowa State to that growth.
The 6-foot-4-inch, 224-pound prospect is the No. 18 weak-side defensive end in the class and No. 362 prospect overall, according to 247Composite. He is rated as the No. 167 player in the class and No. 8 weak-side defensive end by 247.
Ojulari picked up offers from Maryland and Oklahoma over the weekend as well. The 2018 recruit also boasts offers from Georgia Tech, North Carolina State and a handful of other programs.
He unofficially visited Georgia over the weekend.
Iowa State has offered 13 weak-side defensive ends so far in the 2018 class. Ojulari is the first defensive end from Georgia to receive a scholarship offer from the Cyclones.
