This is a cool story.
Former Kansas State quarterback Jake Waters is now on Matt Campbell’s coaching staff at Iowa State.
Waters, a Council Bluffs (St. Albert) native, is now a graduate assistant who will specifically work with wide receivers at Iowa State.
Waters led Kansas State to a 17-9 record during his two years as a starter where he set school records for completion percentage, passing efficiency and total yards per game.
Prior to his two years in Manhattan, Waters was a JUCO All-American at Iowa Western in Council Bluffs.
