Matt Campbell’s staff has made the most out of three home Saturday basketball games in a row. This weekend’s roster of unofficial visitors isn’t as large but some heavy hitters are indeed planning on making the trip.
That roster includes:
Will Farniok, 6-3, 255-pound OL out of Sioux Falls, S.D. (Washington) – Here’s an example of #RaiseTheStandard. Farniok, the youngest brother of former Cyclone Tom Farniok, is a four-star prospect with offers from programs such as Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, and Virginia. Nebraska is the big favorite here but the fact that Iowa State is getting a visit give the Cyclones a puncher’s chance.
Tyler Linderbaum, 6-2, 255-pound DT out of Solon, Iowa – Iowa State really likes this young man, who 247 has tabbed as the fourth best prospect in the state of Iowa for next year. Iowa State is his only known offer at this time.
Boyd Dietzen, 6-3, 235-pound DE out of Kimberly, Wisc. – Dietzen hails from the same high school in Wisconsin that produced the great A.J. Klein. He’s a three-star kid with offers from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Northern Illinois and Syracuse.
Tyler Endres – A 2019 offensive line prospect out of Norwalk, Iowa. He was in town two weeks ago as well.
Trevor Downing – As I’ve written before, perhaps the most important piece of Iowa State’s 2018 recruiting efforts. He’s an offensive lineman out of Creston, Iowa with additional offers from Iowa, Minnesota and Missouri.
