Iowa State will host a highly touted 2018 prospect on Saturday.
Race Thompson, a 6-foot-8, 200-pound four-star forward out of Minneapolis (Robbinsdale Armstrong) plans to make the trip down I-35 to watch the Cyclones take on No. 9 Baylor.
Thompson also unofficially visited Baylor back on Feb. 4.
In addition to those two schools, Thompson has offers from Minnesota, Marquette, Arizona State, Kansas State, Nebraska, UNI, Northwestern and North Dakota.
It’s still relatively early in the process, but getting Thompson in for a game that will be as charged as this one will be is important.
Iowa State does not yet have a commitment for its class of 2018.
