Former Iowa State offensive line commit Caleb Chandler has cut his list of college options to three. Unfortunately, the Cyclones didn’t make the cut.
The three-star prospect listed Oklahoma State, Florida and Louisville as the three schools vying for his services at the next level. He was scheduled to visit Ames the weekend of Jan. 20, but, according to Cyclone Fanatic sources, that visit is unlikely to happen as of now.
Chandler, rated as the No. 38 offensive tackle in the class by 247Composite, committed to Iowa State after an unofficial visit last June. He decommitted from the Cyclones several weeks later citing that he’d rushed his decision.
With this development, Thayer Munford, Jacob Bolton and Robert Hudson are the top offensive linemen left on Iowa State’s board. The possibility of adding a graduate transfer offensive lineman is also still in play.
