Iowa State has landed a commitment from former four-star recruit and Michigan graduate transfer offensive lineman David Dawson, a source has confirmed to Cyclone Fanatic. Cyclone Alert’s Alex Halsted was the first to report the news.
Dawson, a former four-star recruit in the class of 2013, has one year left to play in his career. He was rated as the No. 95 overall recruit and No. 4 offensive guard in the class of 2013 by 247Composite.
The 6-foot-4, 325-pound offensive guard played in 12 games for the Wolverines during his career. He took a visit to Iowa State over the weekend.
