Iowa State’s only men’s basketball commit in the class of 2017 got a good bump when ESPN released their updated Top 100 prospects on Wednesday. Wisconsin forward Terrence Lewis moved up to No. 59 on the list and is now the highest-rated commit in the Big 12.
The 6-foot-6-inch, 195-pounder is a four-star recruit, according to the Worldwide Leader, and has a scout grade of 85. He’s listed as the No. 14 small forward in the class, tenth-best player in the Midwest and second-best in Wisconsin.
Lewis committed to Iowa State on Aug. 9 after taking a visit to Ames. He also held offers from UNLV, Illinois, Marquette and a handful of other schools.
It is also worth noting that Scout dropped Lewis from a four-star to a three-star on Wednesday, as well. Either way, there’s little doubt that Iowa State’s class is off to a good start.
