Another key piece of next year’s Iowa State basketball team has thrown his hat into the NBA Draft ring. Junior forward Deonte Burton’s name is on the NBA’s official early entry list, according to ESPN‘s Jeff Goodman.
Burton averaged 9.7 points and 3.9 rebounds per game in 26 games last year for the Cyclones. Our Chris Williams is reporting that Burton just wants to be evaluated by NBA teams.
He’ll have until May 25th to make his final decision on going pro or returning to school.
