According to a source close to the situation, Iowa State senior Jameel McKay’s knee is structurally sound and he’s being considered as day-to-day.

This comes after a Tuesday doctor visit for the big man, who is averaging 12.9 points and 9.1 rebounds per game this season for the Cyclones.

After Monday’s win over Kansas, McKay told reporters that his knee "didn’t feel right." He’s been troubled by the nagging injury now for over a week.

Iowa State will hit the road on Saturday to play at No. 5 Texas A&M.
