Iowa State has announced on Twitter that backup quarterback Grant Rohach will transfer from the school.
Rohach, a junior in terms of eligibility, hadn’t thrown a pass since the 2014 season and was listed third on the Cyclones’ latest depth chart. He closed out the 2013 as the Cyclones’ starter, helping to produce wins against Kansas and West Virginia. Rohach threw for 300-plus yards in each of those wins.
He threw for 1,491 yards and 10 touchdowns in his ISU career.
