 Eagerly awaiting ISU’s Emerald Coast Classic matchup with Virginia Tech at 6 p.m. today?

 Of course you are — but some other news came out of the Cyclones’ athletics department this afternoon and it pertains to a balmy destination in 2016.

 Specifically, ISU is slated to play in the AdvoCare Invitational, Nov 24-25 and 27, 2016 at Orlando, Fla.

 Among the other teams expected: Gonzaga, Florida and Stanford.

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State men’s basketball team will play in the 2016 AdvoCare Invitational, held at HP Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex near Orlando, Florida, Nov. 24, 25 and 27.

The 2016 field will feature Florida, Gonzaga, Indiana State, Miami (Fla.), Quinnipiac, Seton Hall and Stanford in addition to the Cyclones.
