Long, lean transfer forward/guard Xavian Stapleton is visiting the Iowa State campus.
Cyclone Fanatic confirmed the athletic 6-6 former Louisiana Tech player made the trip north this week, via a source. The news was first reported by Jon Rothstein of CBSSports.com Wednesday night.
Stapleton, a Mississippi native, reportedly is choosing between Steve Prohm‘s Cyclones, Alabama and Mississippi State.
He averaged 6.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and just 0.3 assists as a freshman.
Stapleton did ascend to the top of ESPN’s Top Plays once last season, courtesy of a one-handed, alley-oop dunk.
