REPORT: Prohm will add Small to his staff

It appears Steve Prohm‘s staff at Iowa State is beginning to take shape.

CBSSports.com‘s Jon Rothstein Tweeted Monday morning that the new Cyclones’ coach will welcome former assistant William Small to his staff in Ames.

Small, a native of Winona, Miss., spent four seasons with Prohm at Murray State.

His previous stops include a one-year stint assisting Tim Floyd at UTEP in 2010-11.

Small, according to the Murray State athletics website, can trace his relationship to Prohm back to the early 2000s. Both assisted Billy Kennedy at Southeastern Louisiana, which went 44-18, won two Southland Conference titles and earned the school’s first trip to the NCAA Tournament under their watch.
