Multiple media outlets are reporting that Iowa State lost a 2015 verbal commitment on Sunday evening.

Less than a week ago, Navarro College offensive lineman Tristan Nickelson committed to the Cyclones. Now, he is a Texas Longhorn.

247 broke this news on Twitter Saturday night.

On Sunday, Tommy Birch from the Des Moines Register followed up. Within Birch’s report, it is noted that Nickelson made his decision before Iowa State lost to Kansas on Saturday and that playing at Texas has been a dream of his since he was a child.
