AMES — Iowa State senior wide receiver Jarvis West racked up a handful of honors on Monday following his multiple touchdown game in Saturday’s 32-28 loss to Kansas State. 

West, who returned a punt 82-yards for a touchdown, was named the Big 12’s Special Teams Player of the Week. 

In addition to the second quarter punt return, West caught eight passes for 75 yards and a touchdown . He also threw a 29-yard touchdown pass to Allen Lazard

Not a bad day at the office. 

In addition to the Big 12 honor, West was named to the Paul Hornung Award Week Two Honor Roll.
