Newspaper veteran Rob Gray joins CF as senior writer

Cyclone Fanatic just got a whole lot better.

Rob Gray, a longtime journalist with the Des Moines Register and Cedar Rapids Gazette, has joined our team as a senior writer beginning in August.

Gray, who has been on the Iowa State beat at the Gazette for the last three years, will cover Iowa State football and men’s basketball on a day-to-day basis. He will also be a regular guest on the Cyclone Fanatic Podcast.

October will mark the five-year anniversary in which the current ownership group acquired Cyclone Fanatic. At that time, the company was a vibrant message board.
