Former Cyclone big man Percy Gibson has found a new home.
The 6-foot-9 center announced on Twitter Thursday that he will finish his college career at Oakland University. This comes after Gibson announced that he was transferring from Iowa State shortly after the 2013-14 season.
"After a lot of deliberation I am proud to say that I will be attending Oakland University to finish my college basketball career!"
That’s what Gibson tweeted to announce the news.
He added, "I wanna thank @ISUMayor32@8mileCorn and the rest of the staff, players, and fans for 3 great years at ISU as well! Thank you #cyclONEnation."
Gibson’s best season as a Cyclone came during his freshman campaign, where he averaged 4.8 points per game while shooting an impressive 66 percent from the floor. As a junior, Gibson’s numbers dropped to 1.2 points per game.
