The Iowa State basketball program welcomed a walk-on into the program on Wednesday.
According to the program’s Twitter page (@CycloneMBB), Daniel Stensland out of Waverly-Shell Rock High School has joined the program. Stensland is a 5-foot-10, 170-pound guard that averaged 8.9 points, 5.7 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game in route to a 23-4 record as a senior.
During Stensland’s junior year, he averaged 13.8 points per contest during Waverly-Shell Rock’s run to a 3A state championship.
