It turns out that Kirby Van Der Kamp found a home in the National Football League after all.
Iowa State’s former punter’s whereabouts was a big question following last weekends NFL Draft. According to Iowa State football’s Twitter page (@CycloneFB), Van Der Kamp has earned a tryout with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In addition to Van Der Kamp, former Cyclone cornerback Jansen Watson will camp with the Oakland Raiders.
This finalizes what looks like will be six Cyclones from last year’s graduating class that have earned spots in NFL camps this summer. The complete list can be read below.
