Still have hoops fever?
Here’s some good news. Being that the 2013-14 college basketball season ended on Monday night, it was both predictable and awesome that CBS and ESPN released their way-too-early top 25’s for the 2014-15 season on Tuesday morning.
Iowa State was shownd some serious love.
In CBS’s poll that was compiled by columnist Gary Parrish, Iowa State is ranked No. 14, notably behind two Big 12 teams in Kansas (4) and Texas (9). Parrish has Oklahoma at No. 16.
ESPN’s poll was put together by Eamonn Brennan. He has the Cyclones ranked No. 16. Brennan has Iowa State as the second ranked Big 12 team behind Kansas at No. 9. Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas State are notably listed at 19, 20 and 24.
