For the most part, Iowa State dominated Baylor in Tuesday night’s much-anticipated battle of top 10’s. The Cyclones only led by two at halftime but out-scored the Bears 47-34 in the second half and cruised to a 87-72 victory.
With the win, Iowa State improved to 14-0 on the season and 2-0 in the Big 12 Conference. With the loss, Baylor dropped to 12-2 and 0-1.
Iowa State senior DeAndre Kane posted the best game of his career by leading the way with 30 points, nine assists and eight rebounds. Fellow senior Melvin Ejim chipped in with 18 points.
