According to the coaching rumors website FootballScoop.com, it is likely that Paul Rhoads will promote either wide receivers coach Todd Sturdy or offensive line coach Chris Klenakis to offensive coordinator.

CycloneFanatic.com has heardKlenakis’ name pop up quite a bit over the last few days but is not ready to "report" anything other than that. I do not believe that any sort of a decision has been made. Being that Iowa State is the middle of a heavy recruiting week, I would be surprised if any sort of decision is make or announced this week.
As of now, Iowa State officially has two spots on its coaching staff to replace, those being offensive coordinator and running backs coach. However, we have strong reason to believe that one other spot on the offensive coaching staff could be open as well. Iowa State has not made that official though.
