According to a source, Iowa State received an offensive lineman commitment from the state of Texas on Thursday.

Windham is the second offensive lineman to commit to Iowa State’s 2014 class and based off of the fact that no other BCS level schools had offered him (to my knowledge), the Cyclone coaching staff must feel like they’ve found a diamond in the rough here.
I’m thinking back to my recent interview with strength and conditioning coach Yancy McKnight where he discussed the importance of recruiting body-type at a place like Iowa State. Windham, a guard, certainly fits that mold.
