Emiah Bingley leaving Iowa State

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State freshman Emiah Bingley has decided to transfer from the women’s basketball team, head coach Bill Fennelly announced Wednesday.

“Emiah informed me of her decision to transfer at the conclusion of the fall semester to a program that will be a better fit for her personally and on the basketball court,” Fennelly said. “We wish her the best in the future.”

Bingley, a 5-7 guard from Greenwood, Mo., has seen action in all seven games this season. She averaged 5.0 points and played 19.0 minutes per game.
