Allen/Palo combine for 55, move on in YMCA CCL tourney

Chris Allen and Bubu Palo combined for 55 points, willing their Two Men and a Truck team past Capital Orthopedics last night by a 105-102 final in quarterfinals play of the Des Moines YMCA Capital City League.

Also last night, Korie Lucious scored 29 points in team Coca-Cola’s 112-102 victory over Adio Chiropractic.

The YMCA Capital City League’s championship night is this Sunday, with games starting at 4:30 p.m. The schedule looks like this.

4:30 – MOHA (Will Clyburn, Anthony Booker & Aaron Law) vs. Two Men and a Truck (Chris Allen, Percy Gibson & Bubu Palo)

5:45 – Peak Performance (Scott Christopherson & Jordan Railey) vs. Coca-Cola (Korie Lucious & Chris Babb)

7:00 – Championship Game (winners of two previous games)
