Congrats to Jon Reader, ISU’s national champion

CycloneFanatic.com wants to congratulate Iowa State senior Jon Reader on his wrestling national championship at 174-pounds.  On Saturday, Reader defeated Stanford’s Nick Amuchastegui 10-3 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

Reader ended his senior season with a remarkable 39-0 record.

Reader was responsible for 23 of Iowa State’s 31.5 points at nationals. The Cyclones finished 20th overall in the team standings.
