Baylor jumped out to a 16-0 lead in the first seven minutes and defeated Iowa State 70-58 in its Big 12 opener on Saturday afternoon.

Kelsey Bolte led Iowa State with 21 points, while national-player-of-the-year candidate Britney Griner scored 25 for the Bears.

The Cyclones  will look to bounce back from Saturday’s loss on Tuesday night when the Nebraska Cornhuskers will come to town for the final time in Big 12 action. Tip time is set for 7 p.m.
