Johnson-Lynch Named Big 12 Coach of the Year

Iowa State’s head volleyball coach Christy Johnson-Lynch has just been named the Big 12’s Coach of the Year. Johnson-Lynch is in her fifth year of coaching in Ames and has turned this Cyclone program into a national power that is currently ranked seventh in the country.

A few other volleyball honors were handed out on Monday afternoon. Ashley Mass was named the league’s libero of the year for the second season in a row. The following Cyclones were voted First-Team All-Big 12: Ashley Mass, Kaylee Manns and Victorie Henson.
