Bill Fennelly’s Iowa State women’s basketball team received a nice honor today as they were ranked 24th in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches’ Preseason Poll.
Five Big 12 teams were in the mix. Along with the Cyclones, Baylor (4), Oklahoma (8), Texas (14) and Texas A&M (16) were included in the rankings.

The Cyclones will wrap up their exhibition season on Sunday when Minnesota, Crookston comes to down. Tip-off is at 2 p.m.
